MultiDec DVB Plugin Support
I already have a Twinhan DVB card with CI and a legally purchased subscription card, so I can watch encrypted TV channels with the crappy Twinhan software, but I would like to to watch and record TV with GBPVR.

Current idea of setup
There are a few steps to getting encrypted DVB TV working with MD plugins.
The MultiDec Card Server Client/SoftCam Plugin communicating with a Card Server software and Card Reader, will work like a Common Interface (CI) and a Common Access Module (CAM) together with you DVB card
What you need is this
- MultiDecAPI Plugin support enabled
- Yankse TT v1.32.21 XP - CardServer Client/SoftCam Plugin
- NewCS v1.2 - Card Server Software
- NewCSGUI v1.2 - Windows GUI for NewCS Card Server
- Card Reader with Phoenix interface
MultiDec API installtion
1) Download MultiDecAPI.zip file MultiDec API (2482 downloads) and extract the two files to c:\program files\devnz\gbpvr.
2) Run the RegisterMultiDec.bat file to register the mdapifilter.ax filter
3) On the Misc tab of the Config.exe app, tick the 'enable MDAPI support' checkbox on the bottom right the screen.
After that, any MD plugins found in /MDPlugins directory will be used during live tv or recording. Settings pages for these plugins can be accessed through the tray icon.

Yankse TT v1.32.21 XP MultiDec Plugin
Yankse is one of the best SoftCam emulators, but might be outdated. This softcam supports Irdeto1/2, Betacrypt1, Seca1/2, TPS Crypt, Viaccess1/2, Nagravision & Conax (for educational purposes only !!!). You must copy this file into the /MDPlugins directory. The Plugin should be configured for Radegast protocol to LocalHost. You also need NewCS Card Server and Card Reader with a valid program card.
WinCSC Card Server Client plugin from
WinSCS is an alternative Plugin as the CardServer Client.
NewCS Card Server for Windows
NewCS Card Server can communicate with both Radegast or NewCamd protocols.
Radegast is recommended for LocalHost (127.0.0.1) usage.
The Card Server communicates with the Card Readers, Phoenix serial interface.
Card Reader
1) Get a MultiProgrammer/Card Reader with Phoenix/Smartmouse interface, where you insert the program card.

3) Run the Multiprog Utility and set/enable the Card Readers to Phoenix Interface mode.
